ANDLINGER CABIN (RED TAG RANCH) - SNOWMASS

 
Andlinger Cabin Johannsson Architects Aspen

Nestled in a pristine mountain meadow setting, this log cabin retreat house features expansive covered porches and oversized hand-peeled logs.

The great room center-piece is a granite boulder fireplace that rises up two stories.

A log rail balcony and sitting area on the upper level captures views out throgh the two story great room and porch to the meadow and mountain peaks.

The nearby timber frame barn provides stalls for six horses, grooming and tack. the spacious hay loft above can be used for multiple activities and storage.

Both the house and barn are "off the grid" and ara 100% electrically powered by solar energy. The solar panels and subgrade storage battery vault are arrayed on a sunny knoll hehind the barn.
